MONDAY – Wholeness
Monday is a day focused on healing, wholeness and self-care. It sets a tone for our week and the inner work we are committing to. The morning includes morning meditation and time dedicated to self care. Participants can use this time to schedule personal healing sessions with our in-house practitioners, work on a self directed project, or tend to the practices that are most personally nourishing.
TUESDAY – Education
Tuesday begins our week of community work and joyful productivity, offering an opportunity to learn from the skills and experience of our community members. After lunch, participants come together to work on their Holistic Goal, a facilitated series of personal exercises to identify the heart of your intentions in life. Over the course of the program, participants are invited to identify the quality of life they most deeply desire to embody and create a personal declaration of the life they choose to live.
WEDNESDAY – Community
Wednesday is a day focused on building community and cultivating vibrancy and health within our community relationships. Our afternoon together begins with a Community Check-In circle, an opportunity for participants to share about their concerns, questions, gratitudes and breakthroughs related to the community of program participants or the community at large. The members and residents of Sirius exhibit a varying mixture of involvement between working inside and outside the community, participating in shared meals, and engaging in our societal activities. This circle provides an opportunity to process, support and build skill for the inevitable growth and learning opportunities that occur within community.
THURSDAY – Sustainability
Thursday is a day focused on the practices of sustainability and attunement to nature that we cultivate within our community. Our community elders and in house experts offer classes and workshops on topics related to practical skills, ecological land care, permaculture, homesteading, sustainability and gardening in attunement with nature.
FRIDAY – Spirituality
Friday is a day focused on the practices of spirituality that feed us both individually and collectively. Community members and residents share about their personal understanding of Sirius’ eclectic practice of spirituality and facilitate group experiences to deepen our personal connection to a spiritual path.
SATURDAY – Joyful Productivity
Saturday’s focus is the coming together of community and the shared joy that comes from applying our many hands towards a common effort. Joyful Productivity concludes with a group Planetary Healing Meditation and community lunch. After lunch, participants enjoy some free time followed by a resident led workshop, group experience or skill share.
