The 2014 Youth Ecovillage Summit is a two-part event bringing together youth living in intentional communities with those who are new to the movment. The Summit begins with Ecovillage Ambassadors arriving early for an Ambassador Pre-Summit Gathering. Then the event opens to the wider public, with workshops surrounding integrated sustainability, how ecovillages are a model of this idea, and “next steps” for those interested in continuing their involvement after the summit. Guest organizations and speakers will contribute throughout the gathering. There will also be a morning spent volunteering with the Sirius Community and a panel discussion with the EcoVillage Ambassadors who will have stayed on throughout the Summit.

Saturday 26th – In the morning, participants will help with a volunteer project at Sirius, interacting with residents and physically contributing to a more beautiful world. Sunday 27th – There will be an EcoVillage Ambassador discussion panel in the morning, where young residents of intentional communities across North America share their stories and advice.
