How to Get to Sirius from I-91:

Northbound on I-91: On I-91 north of the Mass Pike - Exit Northampton at Exit 19 onto Route 9 East towards Amherst.

Southbound on I-91: Take Exit 21 and follow signs to Route 9. Turn left (East) onto Route 9.

Once on Route 9, proceed 4-5 miles. Turn Left at light on Pleasant Street (Top of gradual hill after malls and gas stations, sign says Amherst Center) Proceed past Amherst square (a grassy green on your right). Take Right at next light onto Main St.

Go 6 miles to Rt 202. Turn Left on 202 (North) at flashing yellow light. Go 1/4 mile and take immediate diagonal left onto Shutesbury Rd. (Marked with green sign).

Go 2 miles on Shutesbury Rd. Road turns to dirt and then back to pavement - take immediate left after pavement resumes onto Baker Rd (sign sometimes hidden by tree.) Go 1/3 mile past first Sirius sign to second Sirius sign on left. Drive all the way to end of driveway veering to left to Large Building (Sirius Community Center) Park to left.

 


 

 

 By Plane

The closest airport is Bradley International in Hartford Connecticut.

Valley Transporter will pick you up at the airport and drive you to Sirius for $32 during regular hours and $37 during off hours (9 pm -7 am). Prices are for one way. Call and reserve their services as far in advance as possible to ensure availability 1-800-872-8752 or 413-253-1350.

 


 

By Bus or Train

Take Peter Pan bus lines 1-800-237-8747 or take Amtrak railroad 1-800-872- 7245 into Amherst. You will need to take a cab to Sirius from there. Red Cab in Amherst operates seven days a week from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Their number is (413) 253-3333. Calling in advance to arrange pickup is wise. If you call from the train or bus station, you do not need to enter the 413 area code into the keypad when calling.

 


 

From Rt 2

Take Rt. 202 south toward Amherst for about 12 miles, past turn off for Lake Wyola and Shutesbury center (signs on right). Turn right on Shutesbury Rd, which is 1/4 mile before Pelham town center and a flashing yellow light, but just before a closed general store on the right.

Go 2 miles; just after dirt portion of road becomes paved is the first left turn: Baker Rd (sign often not visible), the first Sirius sign is about 1/3 mile down Baker Rd, go to the second Sirius driveway; parking places are located on either side of the driveway and by the community center.

(Do not park in front of main doors; these spaces are reserved for unloading.)

 


 

From Mass Pike

Take exit 8 and turn right. Follow signs towards Rt. 181 and Amherst. Ask toll booth attendant for instructions. Take 181 North to Belchertown where it joins Rt 202 north.

Go about 8 miles on Rt. 202 north, past Pelham center (a flashing yellow light). Proceed for 1/4 mile past light and turn left on Shutesbury Road.
